Laptops stolen from BMX club
THIEVES have stolen two laptops from the Redlands BMX Club on the corner of Mount Cotton and Degen roads in Capalaba.
They damaged a window to get into the portable office between 10pm on Friday and 12.45pm on Sunday.
Two laptops used for scoring were stolen and a BMX bicycle which was later recovered with a flat tyre in nearby bush.
Club vice-president Karen Whitlock said they were hoping the laptops would be recovered as it would cost a few thousand dollars to replace them.
“Otherwise we will have to come up with another solution,” she said.
