Applications for this year’s RedArts Young and Emerging Artists grant have been extended to now close on December 31.

The Young and Emerging Artists Grant is an annual award that aims to assist artists in the professional development of their skills, knowledge and experience in their chosen art field. Funding of up to $1000 is available.

The grant program has been funded through RedArts events including Redlands On Stage and the monthly Art by the Boardwalk project.

The grant is open to young and emerging individual artists and performance groups who are resident in the Redlands. The applicant age must be aged between 15 and 25 years on December 31.

The grant applies to visual arts, craft and design, dance, music, theatre, writing, film, new media and community arts

Eligible activities contributing to the development of arts skills, knowledge and experience include courses and workshops, residencies or exchanges, mentoring programs and engagement in an arts project.
