Christmas is a popular time for families to think about expanding their number with a four legged friend.
The kids have been begging, and you know the time has finally come for them to learn about the responsibility in owning a dog, as well as the wonderful mateship it offers.
But how do you make sure your kids know exactly what’s involved with looking after Fido?

Canine Cubby offers school holiday activities and education for kids aged 7 to 13.
Your child can learn how to groom their pet, how to approach strange dogs, learn about obedience and teach their dog some tricks.
Classes also extend to adult learning including snake awareness, basic grooming, stopping dogs pulling on leads, dog brain games and IQ tests.
And it doesn’t offer just education.
When your dog beds down for the night Canine Cubby is the type of place they dream about.
Along with courses it offers a full range of services including puppy daycare where dogs can play, learn new things, have fun and exercise while you are at work, before coming home groomed to perfection.
Having worked in aged care and as a paramedic for 12 years, Donna has integrated the benefits of hydrotherapy and alternative therapies into Canine Cubby services to benefit dogs too.
