MULTIPLE fire crews are on the scene of a large vegetation fire on North Stradbroke Island.
A spokesperson for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said aerial support would assist firefighters on the ground.
The fire was in the vicinity of Fisherman’s Hut Track, west of Mount Scott.
The spokesperson said there was no threat to property at the time the statement was issued.

FIRE crews are monitoring a vegetation fire towards the southern end of North Stradbroke Island.
The blaze was reported to be in an inaccessible area on the western side of Mount Scott.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services received a report of the fire about 12.30pm on Thursday.
Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service were also monitoring the fire.
