EXCURSION: Learn about planting, beach foraging and edible flowers and leaves.
MEMBERS of the SMBI Food Growers Group have invited children and their parents for a free visit to Pretty Produce farm on Lamb Island on Friday, January 20, from 9.30am.
Take a picnic lunch, water bottle, hat, gloves, sunscreen, walking shoes and a small garden implement, if available.
The walk on a paved footpath from the ferry to the farm, next to Lamb Island Recreation Club, takes about 15 minutes.
