THE sounds of children enjoying the last week-and-a-half of school holidays can be heard across the city’s natural spaces.
The Osgood siblings, from Rochedale, who travelled with their mother Rochelle to see their grandparents David and Ruth O’Keefe at Capalaba, visited Cleveland Point for the first time on Monday.
Not only did they enjoy whizzing down the slippery slide and the swings, the children also had fun in the yellow toy boat there.
Thompson’s Beach at Victoria Point was also abuzz with life earlier this week, with families looking to cool down in the shade under a tree or at a picnic facility at WH Yeo Park.
The scenic foreshore was a great place to explore for Redland Bay friends Sam Tuohey, 3, and Samuel Kennermark, 5.
The two were brought down for a play date by their mums Tania Tuohey and Lisa Wennermark.
