VILLA World is close to a sellout at its two Thornlands housing projects – Affinity and Waterline.
The developments are among five Villa World projects in the area.
There are only 11 lots remaining at Waterline which will be home to about 230 families when sold out, probably late next month or early April.
Villa World development manager Peter Johnson said there had been a sense of urgency among buyers, with sales buoyed by sought-after foreshore views.
“We are selling on average eight properties per month, with the Waterline demographic largely comprising Redland Bay locals who are looking to downsize to an area close to shops and transport,” Mr Johnson said.
“We’ve had a consistently strong run of sales at Waterline, so I am really looking forward to seeing this community fully occupied and flourishing.”
Only Stage 5 and 6 lots are still available, with house and land packages and land-only options. Affinity has 118 lots and, with only 20 remaining and they are expected to sell out in coming months.
Affinity development manager Andrew Ashwood said the blocks were elevated lots.
“We are into the final stage of this development which is in a highly sought-after location with limited availability,” Mr Ashwood said.
The buyer demographic has been young families. Lots range from about 300sqm to 697sqm, with a starting price of $299,000.
The company’s latest project is Seascape at Redland Bay, where town homes 650 metres from the water are selling from $445,000.
