Tennis is a sport that requires the cooperation of the whole body.
The feet move you into the right position, the arms and hands position the racquet to make contact with the ball, and the torso and legs provide the power to send the ball flying over the net.
All these factors come together every time you hit the ball and each shot takes flexibility, coordination and balance.

The more you play, the better your flexibility, coordination and balance will be.

At the Redland Bay Tennis Club the social groups meet 12 months of the year.
For early risers, play can start as early as 6am Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Participation is informal and paired doubles games randomly organised.
Players unable to commit to the early morning starts, or competition teams, an opportunity exists each Wednesday evening. Interested Wednesday evening players are simply asked to turn up to courts 7 and 8, introduce yourself, and enjoy a wonderful informal evening of social tennis.
While seniors dominate attendance on the early mornings, all age groups and player standards are encouraged to take part.
