STUDENTS in leadership positions at Cleveland District State High School now have another uniform badge to wear with pride.
The pins were presented to them at a ceremony held on Wednesday morning at the Smith Street hall.
While the entire Year 12 cohort received badges to mark their final year of high school studies, younger students did not miss out.
Children elected as Year 7 representatives received the special honour, as did harassment referral officers in Year 11 and those in the student council and chaplaincy committee.
School captains were also recipients, along with those elected into the student council executive and junior leaders.

Principal Paul Bancroft addressed the audience with a motivational speech reminding students to always be resilient and to look at the bright side of life.
Former school captain and 2009 graduate David Innes, who was invited as a guest speaker, told students about his adventures overseas to help the less fortunate and his ongoing studies to become a research scientist.
An upbeat performance by the school’s Decemsextet Project kept the crowd entertained, as did serenades by the senior vocal ensemble.
