A THORNLANDS man has been charged with multiple offences after allegedly evading police on Brisbane’s northside on Friday.
It is alleged that a motorcycle police officer tried to pull over a stolen vehicle at Nundah a short while after it was seen at nearby Virginia.
The utility allegedly failed to stop and drove onto the Gateway Motorway and into Boondall where it became involved in several crashes before stopping on the side of the motorway.
The dog squad tracked a 28-year-old man to swampland in the Boondall Wetlands.
He has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle with excessive speed, two counts of evading police, two counts of stealing and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, driving under the influence of drugs and disqualified driving.
