Easter is a time for holidays, and that means catching a swim before the weather starts to get a little bit cooler.
Just because winter is coming doesn’t mean its time to stop learning water safety skills.
In fact, it is the best time.
By continuing lessons learnt over summer, children and adults alike can consolidate what they’ve learned, build on those skills and reap the benefits of a year around indoor sport.
Why Swim and Survive?
The Swim and Survive program not only focuses on learning to swim and developing a strong, effective swimming technique, but the concept of self-preservation and learning rescue skills.
Taught progressively, children learn at an early age ‘how to be rescued’ teaching them the importance of remaining calm, listening to a rescuer and self-help by kicking.
As lessons progress they learn more complex methods of rescue and how not to endanger themselves.
