THE Health Ombudsman has suspended the registration of Victoria Point dentist Dr Prashant Raniga.
A spokesperson for the Office of the Health Ombudsman said the suspension was effective from March 24, 2017.
The spokesperson could not provide any reason for the suspension.
“Due to restrictions outlined in the Health Ombudsman Act 2013, we are unable to disclose that information,” the spokesperson said.
The suspension would be effective until set aside by the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal or revoked by the Health Ombudsman.
A notice on the door of Dr Raniga’s dental practice stated the surgery was closed and there was a refurbishment in progress.
