THE Yurara Art Society will hold its Autumn Art Exhibition until June 9, with the official opening this Friday.
Spokeswoman Gloria Dietz-Kiebron said the society was the oldest at Redlands, with a membership of 85.
The opening event would be at 7pm, with family, friends and residents welcome to attend.
It will be at the Yurara Art Society building at Cleveland-Redland Bay Road, Thornlands.
Ms Dietz-Kiebron said Redland City councillor Lance Hewlett would open the event, with judges Tim and Tania Davidson from Tania's Art House Gallery Store at Cleveland explaining why particular works were chosen for prizes.
“The exhibition will be an open theme with a variety of 77 outstanding paintings,’’ she said.
“Thirty-five members are exhibiting, including two of our youngest members on the Yurara Youth Art Aawrds mentorship program.’’
The exhibition will be open for viewing every Saturday and Sunday from 11am until 4pm until June 9.
