Redlands U3A Musical Theatre group is cruising towards a fun filled voyage on the SS Shipenshore, under director Sue Willingham.
The show has sparkling songs, witty dialogue, a cabaret star, a singing group, dancers, a rich widow and her daughter, thieves, single ladies and a much sought after single man.
The show sets out on its cruise to the South Pacific with its 'right good captain' and its sterling crew. The passengers are an eclectic lot with a singing group,a cabaret star, a rich widow accompanied by her daughter, a group of young women and a much sought after single man as well as jewel thieves and pirates.
Joining the cruise also are the Starlite Dancers who perform three routines and who join in the fun and frivolity with the crew and other passengers under the eagle eye of the ship's Activities Director.
SS Shipenshore takes to the stage at 2pm on Sundays, June 4 and 11 June at Thornlands State School hall, South Street. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door on the day or from Redlands U3A Office at Cleveland High School. Enquiries to 3824 5379.
