YOUNG students at Vienna Woods State School got their hands messy with goo, paint, sand and glitter.
The fun was all part of Under Eight’s Day, which was held on Thursday, May 25.
Head of Curriculum teacher Wendy Wakefield said the activities offered not only engaged students, but also helped to develop their fine motor skills.
Bubble-blowing, miniature farmyard fun, pet rock making and games of giant chess were some of the experiences offered as part of the Country-to-Coast themed event.
Cleveland-based Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crew also visited to treat students to a fire engine lights display and alarm sounding.
