CAPALABA bowlers and the Capalaba Sports Club have raised more than $17,000 at their cancer charity day.
The Capalaba Mens and Ladies Bowls Club hold the annual event to raise money for breast and prostate cancer.
The latest fundraising effort brings the total raised over four years to $54,000.
About 150 people took part in barefoot bowls and money was also raised through auctions, raffles and a cake sale.
The Redlands Ukulele Group provided entertainment on the day.
