Event Cinemas at Capalaba is offering free arts and crafts as part of its movie holiday program.
There is a stellar lineup for children this holiday including watching the legendary Lightning McQueen zoom past the competition in the exhilarating Cars 3 (rated G), joining the return of Greg and his family in the hilarious Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul (rated PG) or teaming up with the Minions for some mischief in Despicable Me 3 (rated PG).
Accompanying artistic activities include making a favourite Wimpy Kid character and masks. Children can also design their own book cover just like the author of the Wimpy Kid series, Jeff Kinney.
Children can create their own Cars 3 pit pass and driver’slLicense or make their own Minion goggles. There will also a prize pack for the Despicable Me colour in competition.
Available in variations of Admit three or four, the family pass ranges in price from $30-$50.
Action-loving teens are also in for a treat when autobots roll out in Transformers: The Last Knight, while Spider-Man: Homecoming (both rated M) will have Marvel fans rejoicing as the web-slinging superhero zooms through high rise buildings to take on a new villain named Vulture.
