WATCH out for pirates on Moreton Bay near Coochiemudlo Island on Sunday.
They will be at the Flinders Day celebration for the re-enactment of the Norfolk landing on the island on July 19, 1799.
The event from 8am to 4pm celebrates the landing of Matthew Flinders on the island.
This year it includes seaplane flights, a parade, market stalls, live music, an art show and dancing.
The parade leaves the barge ramp at 10am and the re-enactment is on Main Beach at 11.40am.
A demonstration of Flinders era dancing will be held at 11.20am.
Island band Wishbone will entertain crowds from 12.30pm.
Extra transport options are available with a ferry leaving from the public jetty behind the Cleveland train station at Raby Bay at 9.30am and returning at 1.15pm.
The cost is $20 return and bookings must be made via Amity Traders on 3820 6557.
Bus services will also run every half an hour from Victoria Point Shopping Centre, connecting with the ferry and barge at Victoria Point jetty.
