GOODSTART Redland Bay have recognised 10 educators for working at the centre for 15, 10 or five years.
Centre director Jodie Zysvelt, who received a 10-year service pin, said it was a great privilege to celebrate the service of her dedicated team.
“I’m incredibly proud of our entire team, and particularly those who have just received either their five years, 10 years or 15 years’ service pin,” she said.
“The quality of stability of educators and teachers working in the early childhood sector is recognised as the single most important influence on children’s development, learning and wellbeing.”
Ms Zysvelt said it was a wonderful achievement to celebrate.
“Every day we come to work to make a positive impact to the lives of the children in our care, to instil in all children a love for learning, and to support their families in any way we can.
“Working in early education can be emotionally and physically demanding work at times, but it is such a rewarding and satisfying profession to help children to reach their potential.
The educators recognised for their service are:
- Laura Hillman, nursery lead educator – five-year service pin
- Marnie Trinder, nursery educator – five-year service pin
- Kris Carey-Brenton, pre-kindergarten educator – five-year service pin
- Jasmine Sempf, toddler educator – five-year service pin
- Roxanne Sten, lead educator in the kindergarten room and assistant director – five-year service pin
- Sharon Martin, toddler lead educator – 10-year service pin
- Leone Wight, senior toddler lead educator/educational leader – 10-year service pin
- Samara Hillman, early childhood teacher kindergarten room – 10-year service pin
- Cassie Walker, educator – 10-year service pin
- Marina Morton, pre-kindergarten lead educator – 15-year service pin
