If you are a new player looking to try something new or a returning player looking to emulate the feats of your favorite players, Alexandra Hills Cricket Club is the place for you.
The club are now calling for juniors, particularly girls following the rise of interest in the women's competition nationally.
“We’ve love to get some female sides going as we believe it will be a key part of the clubs future,” club president Mark Smith said.
The club is all about offering an active and inclusive program which allows kids to make friends and develop their skills, all while having fun and keeping fit.
A sports sign on day will be held on Saturday, August 5 and Sunday, August 13 from 10am to 2pm at the playing field next to Redlands College on Anson Road, Wellington Point.
Mr Smith said they were hopeful of having some well-known cricket names present, including local junior Sam Heazlett who recently played his first game for Australia in the One Day International.
Parents and kids can come down, meet the coaches, get involved with cricket activities and enjoy a free sausage sizzle.
Online registration is available for seniors and juniors.
