AN EAGLEBY woman has been charged with wilful damage after the hood ornament was pulled off a Jaguar parked at a sports club at Victoria Point about 11.20pm on July 22.
Arrest for car damage
Police said they would allege in court they arrested the 26-year-old lying in the car park a short distance from the car.
They will allege she was holding the iconic Jaguar emblem at the time they found her.
The woman is to appear at Cleveland Magistrates Court on August 17.
