A MACLEAY Island bed and breakfast has been awarded a TripAdvisor certificate of excellence for the fifth time.
Owners of Yarrandabbi Dreaming Trevor and Yvonne Hulbert said the certificate celebrated hospitality businesses that had earned great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year.
“We ... are very honoured to receive this award and thank all our wonderful guests for their generous reviews,” they said.
“This is the 5th consecutive year we have received TripAdvisor’s top awards (which is) a rare achievement.”
The Hulberts said Yarrandabbi attracted domestic and international guests who marvelled at the bird life and natural beauty of the island.
“Most guests comment that such tranquillity and peace is a precious escape from more frenetic holiday destinations,” they said.
TripAdvisor spokeswoman Heather Leisman said the awards recognised businesses that engaged with customers and used feedback to help travellers find and book the right property at the right price.
The certificate accounts for the quality and quantity of reviews submitted by travellers over a 12-month period.
To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
