TWO 16-year-old boys have been charged after a bottle shop worker was punched and kicked during a robbery at Victoria Point.
Police said a staff member was putting drinks in a fridge near the counter about 8.40pm on Monday when he was approached by two people.
Police will allege in court the shop attendant was punched several times in the face before one person grabbed his wrist and threw him onto the ground.
They will allege the staff member was kicked a number of times while another person grabbed cans of alcohol from a display fridge.
Police said the two people fled from the store, dropping most of the cans.
They ran to a car parked on Sycamore Parade.
Police arrested two teenagers on Tuesday.
They each face two charges including armed robbery.
They are due to appear in court on Friday.
