Shane and Lauren Tritton have never been afraid of a challenge and are set to take on the likes of Lazarus, Hectorjayjay and Lennytheshark with stable stars Arms Of An Angel and Yayas Hotspot in the Perth Inter Dominion at the end of the year.
The Trittons recently welcome Levi into the world and are planning a trip west with their stable stars in November.
Arms Of An Angel should get into the series and has been in work for a month with the target of returning to racing in October and building towards Perth.
Yayas Hotspot will be on the borderline of the series, but Tritton is confident both will make it in.
"Arms Of An Angel is fast working and has had about three to four weeks of fast work," Tritton said. "We want to bring her back slowly and hopefully be back at the races by October, November.
"As for Yayas Hotspot, we believe he has done enough to earn a crack at the Inter Dominion this year and he'll suit the Gloucester Park track.
"We've been trying to get there the last couple of years and hopefully they give us a shot as his form this season is certainly strong enough."
Kevin Pizzuto is another trainer thinking about the Inter Dominion with the resurgent Tiger Tara. But the former Kiwi, which has run a 1.49.8 mile since coming to Australia, is likely to head to Christchurch for the New Zealand Cup on November 14.
Pizzuto is hopeful of then heading over the Inter Dominion.
