ANYONE who has ever used their mobile phone to take photographs may be inspired to create better images from a photographic exhibition this weekend, say organisers.
The Redlands Camera Club is about to open its second Redlands International Exhibition of Photography.
Organisers Bill and Robyn Sturgess said the fact the show took international entries made it an unusual photographic exhibition for Queensland.
“The exhibition will have on display high quality images from international, national and local photographers,” they said.
“Only the awarded images, which are approximately the top 25 per cent of all the images received, will be displayed.”
Print and digital images will be on display at the Cleveland Uniting Church, 36 Passage Street, Cleveland.
The exhibition will be open from 9am to 4pm on Saturday August 26 and Sunday August 27.
Entrance fee is a gold coin donation, with complimentary refreshments available. People under 18 are free.
