Redland Museum has a great array of school holiday activities for boys and girls and parents.
A responsible adult member of Redland Museum will supervise each activity and make sure everyone has a good time.
On Wednesday September 20, 10am, listen to our special guest storyteller from the local Quandamooka people relating Stradbroke Island stories.
Adult members $4, non-members $10, children $6.
On Thursday September 21, 10.15am, learn how to create simple lava lamps – a big hit with children and adults.
On Tuesday September 26, 10.15am, make your own unique shell fish and a magnetic fishing rod – great fun in our arts and crafts workshop.
On Wednesday September 27, 10.15am, learn how to create Sea Creatures from Hama Beads – then see your creatures come to life.
On Thursday September 28, 10.15am, come along to the final workshop and Make a Dream Catcher. Learn how to cut, thread, tie and add your own personal touches with beads and feathers then take your Dream Catcher home.
To take part in workshops, children are $2 admission to the museum and $2 for materials. Adult members enter is for free, non-members pay $6 admission.
