POLICE officers will be up for a chat about the issues in your suburb and available to answer questions about crime prevention at a Coffee with a Cop event at Alexandra Hills on Friday.
The event will be held at 2 Shots Espresso coffee shop at the Alexandra Hills shopping centre from 9.30am to 11.30am on Friday, September 22.
Volunteers from the Bayside branch of Crime Stoppers Queensland and representatives from Volunteers in Policing will also be at the event.
Information about domestic violence, how to pass on information to the police anonymously and different types of scams will be available.
Police officers and volunteers will also be able to answer questions about ways you can avoid becoming a victim of crime.
Coffee with a Cop was started in Queensland by Capalaba police officer Senior Constable Samantha Schofield and police administration officer Pauline Dunn.
The concept has since spread across Queensland.
