GOLFERS will swing into action to drive out crime at the annual Crime Stoppers Brisbane Bayside Volunteer Area Committee’s annual golf day fundraiser.
The Crime Stoppers committee will guarantee it will be a fangtastic, spooky event at Redland Bay Golf Club on Friday, October 13.
The golf day is the main fundraiser for the committee, which promotes Crime Stoppers and the anonymous reporting of crime through the organisation.
The committee helps pay for promotional materials to increase community awareness and contributes towards rewards offered to people who provide information resulting in the arrest of offenders.
The golf day starts with registrations at 6.30am and a tee shot gun start at 7.30am.
Teams consist of four players and entry fees include breakfast, lunch and cart hire.
There will be prizes for the best spooky outfits.
Sponsorship packages are available.
The cost is $380 per team.
