Redlands Junior Touch football

After a rocky start with the weather, Friday night junior touch footballers returned from a school holiday break ready for action.

The Victoria Point Burger Fuel player of the week is Claire Mendelson from under 10s Cougar Mates.

Claire was chosen because of her fair play and good team work each week she plays.

This week’s player profile of the week is Riley Lusk from under 12 boys Division 2 team Seahawks Green.

Riley has played for two seasons of touch football so far and is enjoying his time on the field.

Riley has also played representative touch for Redlands in 2017 in the under 10s.

Under 14 Boys Division 1  team Little Bulldogs Blue fought hard against Redbacks in what was an entertaining game.

The end result was a close 5-all draw which was a fitting end to the match for both teams.

In under 10 Division 3 games Cowboys versed All Stars Pink in another close match-up.

It what was again another exciting game which went down to the wire ending in another draw of 7-all, a result both sides can be proud of.
