Redlands looms as the state headquarters of Surf Life Saving Queensland, with the organisation putting in place a $71 million deal with Redland City Council for a rebuild of the Cleveland Aquatic Centre.
The two organisations signed a memorandum of understanding two weeks ago, with the next step to talk the Queensland and federal governments into funding two thirds of the proposal.
