A 44-YEAR-OLD man is behind bars after he was apprehended by police at North Stradbroke Island’s Island Vibe festival.

Police alleged the man was found with cash, clip seal bags and drugs including ketamine and LSD.

The man was apprehended on Sunday, October 29 about 5.30pm at Point Lookout and will remain in custody until he appears at Cleveland Magistrates Court on January 9.

He was charged with a string of offences including five counts of possessing dangerous drugs.

Police said the man was searched after a member of the public alleged he may have been dealing drugs.
