Police are searching for a mystery driver after a woman in her 90s was killed in a hit and run in Toowoomba last week.
A teal-coloured sedan was heading east along Bridge Street in North Toowoomba about 11am last Tuesday, November 14, when it was involved in a collision with a white ute travelling in the same direction.
The impact caused the white ute to collide with a Toyota sedan travelling in the opposite direction.
The third car hit by the ute was driven by a woman in her 90s, who sadly passed away this week from her injuries.
Investigators have launched an appeal for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have dashcam vision from the crash to come forward.
In particular, police would like to speak to the driver of a teal sedan, believed to be a 2011-13 Holden Cruze that was either a CDX or CRI model. It was believed to have Western Australian registration plates, possibly with C26 in them.
The Forensic Crash Unit investigations were continuing.
