Students at Russell Island state school have woven a bit of fish magic in time for National Recycling week.

Students, staff and families at Russell Island State school have participated in a community  sculptural project. The students wove a large fish using recycled materials and  two large  eyes made from old fan covers.

The fish were then hung on the school fence to coincide with National Recycling Week. The project was coordinated by teh school art teacher Therese Flynn-Clarke.
