A WEINAM Street construction site at Redland Bay was left in disarray after its portable toilets were pushed over, fire extinguisher discharged and premises vandalised with graffiti.

Redland Bay police have called for witnesses to report any information about the incident, which happened between 5.30pm on Wednesday, November 29 and 6am on Friday, December 1.

Senior Sergeant Steven Graham said fuel was taken from earth moving machinery after locks to fuel tanks were cut open.

Tools were taken from two utility vehicles parked at Sherwood Court and Winchester Road overnight on Friday, December 1.

Thefts from cars

Two cars parked on Russell Street and Mergowie Drive were targeted overnight on Friday, December 1.

Cleveland police said tools kept in a toolbox were taken from a car parked at Russell Street between Haggup Street and Lexlen Court, with the fuel cap of a car at Mergowie Drive opened.

Cash was taken from a Bainbridge Street shop between 11pm on Saturday, December 2 and 5.30am the next day after entry by unknown means was made.

Plate theft

Number plates were taken from a Holden Commodore parked at Weinam Creek ferry terminal between 1pm on Tuesday, November 28 and 8am on Friday, December 1.

Attempted break and enter

The locks to a shipping container kept at a German Church Road refuse station were cut and a roller door kicked in between 5.40pm on Saturday, December 2 and 7am the next day.

A wallet was pinched from an unlocked car parked at Gaylen Street overnight on Friday, December 1.
