A 15-year-old who honed his skills at Redland Aero Modellers as a 10-year-old has won a remote control planes competition in the USA.
Cameron Robinson won the Intermediate Category at the Tucson Aerobatic Shootout in Arizona in October with a score of 5000 points.
Cameron started at Redlands Aero Modellers at Ziegenfusz Park, Fitzroy Street, Cleveland as a 10-year-old and gained his Bronze Wings accreditation within weeks
He came to RAMS five years ago as a ten year old and within weeks had his Bronze Wings (MAAA rating equivalent to AMAS Solo Wings).
