A WOMAN who almost drowned at Wellington Point Recreation Reserve remains in an critical condition at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said paramedics resuscitated the woman from about 1pm today before she was transported in a serious condition.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said it was not yet known how the woman became distressed in the water.
It is understood paramedics were interviewed by police after the woman’s emergency admission to hospital.
A Princess Alexandra Hospital spokesperson said the woman remained in a critical condition in intensive care.
