REDLANDS commuters will need to pay a few cents more to catch trains, buses and ferries from January 22.
The change comes as Translink adult and concession fares are increased across the south-east Queensland by 1.5 per cent, adjusted according to the consumer price index.
While those outside the greater Brisbane region could be hit by hikes of up to 40 cents, residents commuting from Redland City to Brisbane will only be charged up to 10 cents extra per zone.
The fee increase will come into effect as normal train times are resumed following service changes throughout the festive season.
