THE director of the controversial Breaking Through drug rehabilitation centre at Thornlands will face a committal hearing in March on one count of fraud.
Yvonne Lauderdale Murray’s solicitor today asked for a full brief of evidence on the matter which was heard in Cleveland Magistrates Court.
Ms Murray was charged with dishonestly inducing delivery of property as a director of a governing body.
It related to her position at the rehabilitation centre known as Breaking Through Transitional Services, which was forced to shut in September last year.

As previously reported by Redland City Bulletin, Ms Murray was arrested for fraud after an office at the Woodlands Drive facility was searched by more than 20 police on September 14.
Breaking Through’s lease was immediately terminated by the Nazarene Theological College board, with about 20 residents evicted later that day.
Magistrate Deborah Vasta today said Ms Murray’s fraud charge related to an arrangement between Breaking Through and Max Solutions during a two-and-a-half year period.
Ms Murray appeared at Cleveland Magistrates Court on November 23 but the matter was adjourned as a forensic audit of accounts was conducted.
The controversial clinic at Woodland Drive had attracted major criticism from residents and politicians, with concerns raised that bailed offenders sent to the service were not being appropriately managed.
Ms Murray’s committal hearing will be at Cleveland Magistrates Court on March 15.
