Red carpets. They're coming from everywhere. Royal Ascot, Dubai, Japan, Hong Kong ... wander on down, Winx for one final hurrah. Just please do it with us. Pretty please.
What's that? You don't know what all the fuss is about? Calmest you've been in a while? If only you knew how much it would mean for your four legged marketing machine to come to our part of the world. Just this one time before it's all over.
"She's very calm for the stage where she's at," said trainer Chris Waller, who watched Winx amble into sixth behind Trapeze Artist and ahead of The Everest hero Redzel in a routine barrier trial at Rosehill on Monday, her first public appearance since a third Cox Plate win. "That was the most pleasing part.
"Hugh Bowman could have ridden her on a piece of cotton. She was very tractable and she just did everything right."
The more Winx Watch intensifies, the less Team Winx worry. Her part-owners Peter Tighe and Debbie Kepitis went to Royal Ascot on Saturday. Dead bat. They'll saunter into a world's best racehorse ceremony in London this week and will almost certainly claim the gong for world's best turf horse for a second year in a row.
Their mighty mare riding a 22 race winning streak has almost sucked the life out of all that is glorious about sport, the certainty of its uncertain outcome. But still we watch. A nondescript barrier trial - akin to an irrelevant pre-season trial game for a football side - attracting so many news cameras these days each morning as such is an event in itself.
And yet nothing changes.
"About the same weight she has been for the last 12 months," Waller said when asked about Winx's physical condition. "All athletes change as they get older and they're a little bit harder to get fitter.
"She's enjoying it, she's getting used to the fuss and she's getting used to the media and cameras - everything that comes with trial mornings - and to me reading a horse's body language it tells me the horse is very happy."
Winx only has to stretch her legs and bookmakers shudder these days. After Monday's spin which was nothing more than light exercise, TAB quickly wound Winx from $1.10 into $1.08 to win next month's Apollo Stakes, her first appearance of the autumn. You don't need to be a genius to figure out the ending to this script.
But they'll be watching from afar. Team Winx watching overhead. While every little lure will be used to whisk our girl overseas later this year after the George Ryder Stakes - potentially a Black Caviar-equalling 25th straight win - there will be no favour given at home. There never has.
Asked about his preference for rain before the Apollo Stakes and an avoidance of the lightning fast dry tracks of the spring, Bowman said: "I certainly would [like some rain].
"I'm not saying she needs a wet track, but I'd prefer it if we could have a bit more moisture in it than last time. We had a really dry winter last year in Sydney. The result of that is firm tracks and I don't expect that to be arranged to favour Winx."
But you can bet everything is being arranged to get her away from Sydney once more. Red carpets and all.
