A 28-YEAR-OLD man has died at Burbank after a four-vehicle crash along Mount Cotton Road earlier this morning.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said investigations continued but it appeared one car rear-ended another, leading to a head-on crash with oncoming traffic about 6.30am.
“The male driver, and sole occupant of the one of the eastbound vehicles, a 28-year-old man, suffered life-threatening injuries and passed away at the scene,” the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson said four people with non-life threatening injuries were taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
Queensland Ambulance Service’s Metro South operations supervisor David Wilson said the patients sustained whiplash and neck injuries.
