REDLANDS MP Kim Richards wants to chat over a cuppa with Southern Moreton Bay Islands residents on February 24 and 25.
Ms Richards is holding the island forums on Macleay, Russell, Lamb and Karragarra.
She said the forums would continue while she is in office.
“Our Southern Moreton Bay Islands have a range of opportunities and challenges that are different to those of our mainland Redlands community,” Ms Richards said.
“The forums will facilitate opportunity to directly connect with each island community and ensure that as their elected representative I am informed to advocate strongly on their behalf.”
The forums on Saturday, February 24 will be held at the Macleay Progress Hall from 11am to 12.30pm and the Russell Recreation Hall from 2.30pm to 4pm.
On Sunday, February 25, forums will be held at the Lamb Pioneer Hall from 10.30am to 11.45am and Karragarra Fire Station Community Room from 1.15pm to 2.30pm.
