DON and Joan Campbell used to own a newsagency but even they would have trouble finding a milestone card for their anniversary.
The pair will clock-up 70 years on February 28, after tying the knot in 1948.
Their generation was known as the greatest, something both Don and Joan have proven in their long and fruitful life together.

They have seen their family tree grow by four generations and both know their own great, great grandchildren.
Daughter Pam Elder said her parents were “marvellous” for their age.
While the two globe-trotted extensively before retiring from their Bulimba newsagency, old age has not quelled their travel bug.
The duo went on their last cruise, a three day food and wine tour, just last year.
“The grandchildren were so excited when they would bring them all a special gift back from their holidays,” Ms Elder said.
Don and Joan courted through the Presbyterian Church’s Fellowship before marrying in Toowoomba.
They have lived in the Redlands for the past quarter-century, with Don once active in the Cleveland Rotary and Toondah Harbour Probus clubs.
Ms Elder said her parents had lived at Moreton Shores Independent Retirement Village for the past decade.
“The family will gather together to celebrate the wonderful achievement, with Don and Joan the centre of attention,” she said.
