A NIGHT of mystery, magic and fun could help top-up The Cage Youth Foundations’ community services kitty.
The group is hosting its annual Go MAD March masquerade event on Friday, March 9 from 6.30pm, with tickets priced at $75 per person.
Every dollar raised will be used by The Cage for its counselling services and youth programs, including cyber-safety lessons for kids.

Managing director Linda Grieve said the drop-in centre continued to provide crisis care, personal development and youth engagement programs thanks to support from the community.
She said she hoped $5000 would be raised from the party held at the drop-in centre, adding onto $9000 from the Grass Roots Bull Riding event in January.
Generous individuals and businesses have donated prizes to the cause, helping to keep the fundraiser’s costs low.
Mrs Grieve said patrons would be enthralled by a silent auction, giveaways and chance to win bling from Hampton Fine Jewellery and Designs.
Guests could also sip cocktails and quell hunger with canapes while entertained by band Geed Up and magician Aces of Spadez.
Manager Angie Bowers said a best mask prize would also be handed out.
“While our cause is serious, there is always a touch of mystery,” she said.
Tickets must be booked before Wednesday, March 7 by phoning The Cage on 3829 2644.
The Cage Youth Foundation’s drop-in centre is at 882 German Church Rd, Redland Bay.
