UPDATE 10am:
POWER has been restored to homes after repairs were undertaken by Energex to fix overhead a powerline fault at Ormiston.
Sparks had been seen coming from the lines, with more than 1300 customers without power this morning.
An Energex spokesman said some customers had also experienced lower voltage power.

About 1300 people have lost power at Ormiston as Energex repair a fault in their overhead powerlines along Gordon Street.
An Energex spokesman said sparks had been seen coming from the lines, with crew onsite investigating the problem.
He said the fault had affected the network, which meant customers in nearby suburbs were also experiencing power outages.
About eight people have lost power in Cleveland and Wellington Point.
The spokesman some said some customers had experienced low voltage currents rather than a complete disconnection.
The next Energex update is expected about 10am.
