A WELLINGTON Point man has been accused of robbing a Boronia Heights store at knifepoint about seven years ago.
The man, 33, is set to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on April 18 after Logan detectives charged him with armed robbery yesterday.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said it would be alleged the man and a male accomplice stole cigarettes and money from a Middle Road store after making demands.
They had entered the shop about 2.20am on September 20, 2011.
One of the men was armed with a knife but no one was hurt in the incident
The spokesperson said investigations into the incident were ongoing.
“The Logan district robbery task force is committed to investigating and locating those who commit all armed robberies in the district – no matter how much time has passed,” the spokesperson said.
