A car driven by a man wanted over a fatal shooting at a WA business has been found by police.
Police are hunting 48-year-old Rodney Peter Vlahov following the shooting on Thursday afternoon at business in Geraldton, in the state's Mid West region.
A firearm was recovered at the scene but police said they could not "discount that Mr Vlahov may have access to other firearms".
Police said on Friday that a Landcruiser was found in the Geraldton area.
"Searches are continuing and this morning we are appealing to all members of the public to stay away from this activity in the interests of their safety and the safety of our officers," a spokesman said.
Mr Vlahov is described as fair skinned, about 175cm tall, of medium build with brown hair and blue eyes.
Anyone who sees Mr Vlahov is urged not to approach him but to call police immediately on 131 444.
