The YMCA operates several multi-purpose fitness, aquatic and recreational Centres that seek to value add to the communities they function in through providing opportunities for all individuals to grow in body, mind and spirit. DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION
These positions are responsible for teaching gymnastics skills with the appropriate technique and in accordance with the YMCA’s mission, YMCA Gymnastics curriculum and the requirements of Gymnastics Australia. It is also responsible to keep the safety of children in the class. You will receive training in YMCA gymnastics programs as part of your induction.
Learning the wonderful sport of gymnastics goes hand in hand with fun and confidence! Established in 1978, YMCA Jamboree Heights offers exciting gymnastics programs for all ages and skill levels starting from crawler’s right through to teenagers. Classes include Kinder Gym, Traditional Gymnastics (Steps), Competitive Gymnastics, Tumbling, Team Gym, Ninja Gymnastics, Special Needs Gymnastics, and casual Gym Play classes.
