Hays are proud to be partnering with one of Hobart’s largest Medical Practices located south of the Hobart CBD in their search for an experienced Practice Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This business provides a larger range of General Practice services from Women’s Health, Immunisations, Sports Medicine, Mental Health and much more.
Your new role
This role will see you being responsible for the day-to-day operational requirements for a practice with over 50 staff, you be managing duties such as rostering, staff management and development, budgeting and financial performance, service delivery, health and safety, maintaining adequate stock levels, developing relationships with new and existing clients and resolve customer complaints and concerns as required and much more.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have managed a busy practice/office in the past and had had multiple direct reports previously although this doesn't not necessarily need to be from the health sector. A passion for providing the best possible service to patients/customers is more important with a focus on doing this in a commercially sustainable way. You'll be business minded, want to drive growth and efficiencies, yet also have the ability to work well under pressure and deal with emergency situations that may arise.
