A PROMOTIONAL flyer from Bowman MP Andrew Laming was right when it said "it was a January that tested us all".
In January, along with the cyclonic winds and rain, Mr Laming made headlines for comments about a race riot in Logan.
On the weekend, Mr Laming was forced to duck for cover again after a promotional flyer thanking volunteers for their help over Australia Day showed a man exposing himself.
The flyer, distributed to 60,000 Redland City homes, shows people enjoying an Australia Day party with the flag flying in the background and a blond man with his pants down.
Mr Laming was forced to apologise for the photographic error and his office said distribution of the leaflet ceased after calls from residents.
He took the photo while distributing lamingtons at one of seven Australia Day parties he attended in Redland City.
"We chose the photo because it had the Australian flag in it and, unfortunately, we were more interested in proofing the text and didn't get out the magnifying glass to check the fine detail," a staff member said.
