We leave our bikes at the bottom and climb to the top of the mountain overlooking Hawkes Bay at the Otatara Pa Historic Reserve.

Sunday, March 10: The cycle trip stops over at one of many wineries in the Hawkes Bay Area. The limestone covered cycling tracks are great to travel on and except for a head wind we made good time over the 50 kilometres or so. The apple and peach picking season is in full swing but it is so so so dry.
